An Introduction.

To anyone reading this, first and foremost, thanks for clicking and I hope you stick around for whatever experience Everything’s Fine will grow and evolve into. It’s an exciting feeling and also a hopeful one that this may actually take off into something.

Some of you know me, some of you don’t. Either way, I hope I can offer a genuine glimpse into my mind and maybe inspire you to go out and see something, or help you discover a new favorite artist or song.

I was inspired to start this thing after being fortunate enough to attend the 2019 Sundance Film Festival. There, I noticed how passionate the group of people I stayed with were about producing their own videos and podcasts about film and having their opinions and voices heard. I figured, hey it’s my turn.

I’ve always been told by friends to become a movie reviewer but I hate the idea of writing with a set structure or guideline. I decided against YouTube after the thought that listening to my voice for hours and hours while editing a video would drive me up insane. I also wouldn’t want to limit myself to just talking or writing about movies when I’m just as passionate about music and art as I am about movies.

Everything’s Fine is my way of getting my voice out there however the hell I feel like it. I’m going to write about anything and everything I care enough about; movies, music, art, I’ll post pictures I take, stories, maybe excerpts of screenplays I write, works I find online that I like, etc. I don’t want to be limited to just reviewing movies or talking about albums, I want this to be a glance into what it is I’m passionate about. A personal memoir and collection of digital artifacts and ideas that I think are cool and worth sharing with the world.
